About us
For years we had the idea to start a B&B and in 2014 we made these plans final because we had time and space for it. We like to receive guests, to familiarize them with our surroundings and to offer the most complete service possible, in a cozy, homely environment with sufficient privacy. Roland used to work in the insurance business, before he made a career switch and Henriette does translations and runs her own webshop www.jetencien.nl.We have 2 children (1993 and 1995), they both work and live in Amsterdam.

Our rooms
In April 2016 we started in the back of our garden with two complete new BnB rooms.
- Each room has 23m2 and a private entrance
- Double bed 160 x 200
- Private bathroom, with shower and toilet

Choose our delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread, an egg, fresh cold cuts, various cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and, for example, an espresso or tasty cappucino.

Overall very satisfied
Henriette and her family are great hosts and you definitelly feel very Welcome in their home. They can even arrange transport from the nearby airport to their home which is in my oppinion much better than taking a cab. Room was clean, nicely furbished and well stocked with snacks and drinks. Overall very sattisfied!

The new spacious rooms are better than many 4 or 5 star hotels. The well dimensioned rooms are light with a touch of stylish vintage. All amenities (toilet, shower, mini fridge, tea, coffee) are of high quality and work very well; the bed is superb. Waking up in a quiet room, no noise, other than birds, with a view on a well kept garden is a superb way to start your day. The hosts Henriette and Roland finish it off with their kind, attentive hospitality.”
Great place to stay
What a wonderful place to stay. Close to the Airport of Schiphol, but still far enough from the noise of the airport. A very nice couple that will welcome you into their lovely home. You get to spend time in a lovely room with a comfy bed and great bed linnen. Breakfast was superb and the lady of the house was most generous in serving us whatever we could ask for. Hoofddorp has several cafes, many restaurants, a large cinema with various screens. All films in the original language with subtitles. Every Friday a fresh market in the center and Friday evening shopping evening.
Water and Woods
The Haarlemmermeerse Bos with several small lakes is 10 minutes by bike and half an hour walking. Zandvoort Beach can be reached by car, public transport or an hour by bike.
